STRyNG / THE ESSENTIALS

Terms of Service

Effective September 29, 2026

The ground rules for using STRyNG and connecting your people, places, and plans.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service apply to the STRyNG website, mobile app, and any APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, connectors, and related services we make available (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by STRyNG LLC (“STRyNG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. If you use STRyNG for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us at info@stryng.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your use of your account and the access you authorize.

3. Using STRyNG

STRyNG helps connect people, places, and plans through reminders, lists, notes, and sharing features. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the Services for their intended purposes.

Location estimates, reminders, syncing, and notifications depend on device settings, permissions, connectivity, operating systems, and other conditions. They may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Do not rely on STRyNG as your only means of managing emergencies, safety-critical tasks, or other obligations where a missed alert could cause harm. Use the app safely and avoid interacting with it while driving.

4. Your content and sharing

You keep ownership of the reminders, lists, notes, and other content you provide. You grant STRyNG permission to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Services and carry out your instructions, including sharing with people or services you authorize.

You must have the right to provide the content you submit. Review recipients and sharing settings before sharing information, and respect other people’s privacy and rights. STRyNG’s software, branding, and other materials remain owned by STRyNG or its licensors.

5. AI assistants, connectors, and API access

Where available, you may connect STRyNG to a third-party AI assistant or other service through a connector, API, or MCP server. A connection authorizes access only within the permissions you grant. Depending on those permissions, an assistant may read account information or content, or create, change, or share reminders, lists, notes, and associated details on your behalf.

AI assistants can misunderstand requests or produce incorrect results. Review proposed actions, recipients, places, and alert settings before approving them, and check important results in STRyNG. A saved reminder does not necessarily mean an alert is active on your phone.

Information supplied to a third-party assistant is also handled under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. You can revoke access through the connection controls available to you, or contact info@stryng.app for help. Revoking access does not undo completed actions or automatically delete information already received by the third party.

Developers and automated clients may use our documented interfaces only for authorized purposes, within the user’s permissions and our published limits. Keep access tokens secure. Do not bypass authentication, approval steps, access controls, or rate limits; access another person’s data without authorization; or use data obtained through the Services for unrelated purposes without the necessary permission. We may restrict or revoke API or connector access for abuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms. Availability of a connector does not imply endorsement by a third-party platform.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Services to break the law, infringe someone’s rights, harass or impersonate others, send spam, distribute malicious software, or track or monitor someone without the necessary consent. Do not disrupt the Services, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse shared content or location information.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information and describes your choices. These terms do not replace that policy or any consent required for location access, sharing, or third-party connections.

8. Paid features

If we offer paid features or subscriptions, the price, billing period, and other purchase conditions will be shown before you buy. Subscriptions may renew automatically as disclosed at purchase unless canceled through the store or service where you subscribed. That provider’s payment, cancellation, and refund rules apply, together with any rights you have under applicable law. Deleting the app or stopping use does not by itself cancel a subscription.

9. Availability and ending use

We may update, change, or discontinue features, including beta features and integrations. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, create a security risk, or misuse the Services, or where required by law. You may stop using STRyNG at any time. For help with account or data deletion, contact info@stryng.app. Data retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or delivery of every reminder or notification.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, STRyNG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or data, arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or takes away mandatory consumer rights.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Services evolve. We will post the updated terms here and change the effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice appropriate to the change and obtain additional agreement where required by law. Continuing to use the Services after revised terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
